Montréal's underground city

Thanks to the world-famous underground city, you can hop on the subway, commute to work and shop till you drop ... all without stepping foot outside! Montréal’s underground network is made up of 30 km of tunnels, connecting commercial and residential complexes, several downtown office spaces, subway stations and suburban trains.

Your own personal playground

The area’s impressive landscape includes the St. Lawrence River, Old Montréal, the Quartier des Spectacles, the Latin Quarter, Chinatown, the Quartier du Musée (Montréal’s museum district), the Quartier de l'Innovation (the city’s innovation ecosystem), Shaughnessy Village and the Gay Village, all contributing to Montréal’s diverse and eclectic culture.

La Ronde, an amusement park built in 1967 on Île Sainte-Hélène, attracts hordes of thrill seekers every year.

A little further south, Parc Jean-Drapeau hosts festivals and activities year round.  Located on the islands of Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame, it boasts 25 km of bike paths with unbeatable views of the city skyline and the St. Lawrence River.
